Join DMAC Trips for a prayerful pilgrimage (all are welcome) to the heart of the Catholic Church. Walk in the footsteps of the saints through the churches of Rome, pray at St. Peter’s Basilica, and, if possible, visit the Vatican excavations. Each day will be grounded in opportunities for Holy Mass, personal prayer, and reflection.
The pilgrimage continues in Sorrento, where moments of rest and fellowship are set against the beauty of the Sorrentine and Amalfi Coasts. Along the way, experience the richness of Italian culture through local traditions and tastings, shared in a spirit of gratitude and community.
A priest chaplain (Rev. Angelo Hernandez) will accompany the group throughout the journey, offering spiritual guidance, the sacraments, and a deeper connection to the places we visit.

Join DMAC Trips for a special 10-day pilgrimage to Rome and Sorrento created for educational leaders, benefactors, and mission partners from across the Catholic schools of the Archdiocese of Philadelphia.
As the Archdiocese celebrates 175 years of Catholic education in 2027, this journey offers an opportunity for prayer, gratitude, fellowship, and renewal in the heart of the universal Church.
In Rome, participants will visit the great basilicas, walk in the footsteps of the Apostles, explore important Augustinian sites, and celebrate the spiritual heritage that continues to shape Catholic education today. The pilgrimage then continues to Sorrento and the Amalfi Coast for days of fellowship, reflection, and shared celebration in one of Italy’s most beautiful settings.
We are honored to have His Excellency, Bishop Keith Chylinski (Auxiliary Bishop of Philadelphia), who will accompany the pilgrimage as chaplain and episcopal representative for this special anniversary trip.
